3 weeks since TC's sighting of 4 amazons in Wanchai and how the situation has changed...did a quick circuit of the block that Delaneys is on at 1am tonight (Friday night so should have been peak hour) and there wasn't a single LB in sight. In fact, hardly any Thais at all, whether GG or LB - a whole load of Philippinas and that was it.

What's the story, are the Thai girls all back working in BKK and Pattaya? Or have the LBs all moved to Lan Kwai Fong?

There are several (~10-15) Thai LBs who hang out in Wan Chai, near the Hot Pot restaurant, across the street from Joe Bananas. Hot Pot is a Thai restaurant. Many Thais go there for a day, a week, a month, years. There are at least 5 regulars I've known for perhaps 10 years around there.

The only downside is they are night owls, midnight and later is best hunting.

They don't allow LBs into bars, so they must roam the streets, at least in Wan Chai.

For LKW, I don't know.

There were 5 or more just wandering around Lan Kwai Fong last night as early as 10pm. A dozen more in Wan Chai. More in TST. Times are tough in the Philippines so many are coming here for work and are in addition to the usual contingent from Thailand. Not as many as in Singapore or BKK but enough for anyone looking for business.

I think its the police. They have purge every now and again and raid the bars etc etc and so the LBs probably are keeping clear as they will be swept off the street into the wagon along with other illegals who they find in the bars.
