For some tips on how to proceed in China, see my thread(s) on travel around Beijing. It definitely ain't easy. In those threads or others on Chinese LBs, I have posted a variety of characters, and you might write or print these for use in getting help in finding LBs. I know that it helped me. When I was in Beijing's Hard Rock Cafe, I'm fairly sure that the post-op I met was told about me by some other working girls. With dozens of women there, this one came up to me after I'd sort of left the crowd of GGs.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you the next time I'm in Beijing, which will be in several months. I'll be pretty busy and won't have much time to myself; it'll also be a very short trip.

I know how hard it is, though. Try talking to 4 dozen touts in Sanlitun and the Hard Rock Cafe areas over a couple of days. I even had one guy try to tell me a GG was a LB. The GG was ultra-uncomfortable. She was drinking like mad, hoping I'd get bored and leave or something. It was at one of those girly clubs (or whatever the hell they're called). My Chinese wasn't very good then, but I made it very clear that they were trying to deceive me, and I got the hell out w/o any harm and with only a token amount paid (those clubs are a very, very bad idea anyway). I could have made things funnier by asserting that they had lied about bianxingren, but I didn't want to risk going to jail, either.

So, my view is that the basic route is:
- Hard Rock Cafe
- the 2-4 gay clubs around town, especially to find out about the drag shows:
- some drag shows that I heard about, but didn't get a chance to visit (hey, the steps from drag to LB isn't as big as the gay -> LB jump)
- the touts in Sanlitun: eventually, one of these years, these guys will get some LBs in their product lineup.

You'll likely get QiQi at HRC. I suspect she knows several more LBs in town, and I wouldn't be surprised if she's the best known in town - she is, after all, at HRC, which is probably ground zero for paid sex for foreigners.
