Going to Laos (Luang Prabang and Vientiane) between Christmas and New Year and hope to find some ladyboys there.Does anybody have detailled experience ?

It's been a while since I have been to Vientiane, but the Chess Cafe (a disco) seemed to always have some ladyboy freelancers though it doesn't seem to get going till 10pm. Try Khop Chai Deu sometimes called "the beer garden" and ask the staff where to look, good food there too. Outside ladyboys try Xayoh Cafe for food, Happy massage for a traditional massage or venture to one of the restaurants along the Mekong to kick back. Beer Lao is excellent and nicely priced.

The gay pub on ground floor is very busy every evening from 21 to midnight and have some femboys. The sound rocks thu all floors.
Swiss owned and managed Europe restaurant (just behind the guest house, same owners) is one ot the best restaurants in Laos.

Soradith is located opp a large temple in old part of Vientiane, about 2 km away from Ngham Phu (Fountain square) but not fare too away from the new pre-fabricated Don Chan Palace Hotel with its famous all night club Lunar 36 Bistro. The Don Chan Palace is located on banks of Mekong about 5 km away from Vientiane centre and tuk tuk can get pretty expensive. Popular late hang out for handome gay crowd. During day time the sweeping views from hotel restaurants and bars are spendid.

For street girls, from the anou hotel go towards the mekong river and on your left you will see the sangha college there you will see some lady boys around 9 p. M.

Chess Cafe is great, especially THU/FRI/SAT, always few ladies there, took one back to Sofitel last time i was there and had no problems

as a general rule of thumb in the provinces of thailand, and same for laos, there are no reall ladyboy bars, but the best bet is usually the biggest disco in whichever town. you wont miss them and vice versa. i had one in vientienne i found in a disco, she wasnt great though.
