What happened to the flight prices?

what happend to the flight prices .this time last year i could book a flight from manchester for 420 pounds now i cant find one for less than 590 i didnt think they put that much tax on flights

When are you planning on going? Try searching for midweek departures and also better deals from London if you can get there.

Mid feb for a fortnight looking at £450.

But agree, the prices have risen. There are also less flights so most are fully booked.

I got Eva Air for £460..Fore a a non-stop I think thats very good.. Booked with WestEast..

cheapest from manchester (end of january)is now 515 but the stop over on the flight back is 12 hours with qatar

Well, things in Qatar are not as bleak as they use to be, but no lbs except for the rare visitor making a stop on the way out from or into Dubai. Very $$$ as advertising on Vice Sisters, no way is it worth it. LOS all the way!

I use Etihad from Manchester and book through Opodo.
Last year it was £415.
This year the same flight has cost me £520.

The last 3 trips Ive used www.airline-network.co.uk looking through the "offer's" to Bangkok section and got decent prices out of Manchester around £430 twice with Etihad Airways and a "cracker" with Qatar Airways for £376
