Vietnam - I think I saw one!

from the brochures and magazines i saw on Jet star airlines I find Ho Chi Minh to be very beautiful....almost like something out of a pre-World War 2 period picture....or is it the photographer's skill?

is there a lot of political interference in daily activities in Vietnam?

Lisa, Honey: Them must have been some old photos. I doubt that Ho Chi Minh is very beautiful these days. He probably is nothing more than a skeleton with very long nails and very long hair. Probably not much skin on them bones. You see, he has been dead for many years. Ha! Ha!

Vietnam has a booming economy and is far from a dump. It is an amazing country, great beaches and so much to see. The women are beautiful and the food amazing.

Ho Chi Minh is not that big a deal as it is quite a modern city now with skyscrapers etc. But Hanoi is still beautiful. If you only can visit one city in Vietnam HCM or HN then go to Hanoi. Plus from there you can visit Halong Bay which is outstanding.

For the LB's do be careful. I have been many times to Vietnam and it was always a weird experience (going with the LB's there not going to Vietnam).

As I live in Thailand I never bothered too much, especially as the women are so lovely and seem to have larger breasts than the Thai's especially in the North. Weird.
