Hi Stauesque,

Whereabouts in Chonburi are you planning to stay ?

If you are going to be in Pattaya or close by there are many Ladyboy bars listed & discussed in the new Pattaya sub-forum.

Plenty of forum members always around to meet for a drink should you desire ?

Hey Koykaeng,

My hotel says Bangplasoi Muang. Im not really sure if its near Pattaya. A helpless tourist indeed! *laughs*

Also, Im not really looking for bars where girls dance on stages. More like a regular bar/club with good dance/upbeat music, and will allow TGs inside.
Live bands are OK too.

Thanks for the offer as well. I dont see why I shouldnt.
Know anyone in the area?

Hi Statuesque, if I am not mistaken you are going to be visiting Dr. Suporn. If so, you have chosen wisely as he is one of the best SRS doctors in Thailand. Pattaya is where you will probably find the most clubs within a short distance of Chonburi. You will find most clubs will be quite lb friendly, such as Hard Rock Cafe, Triangle Disco (near Alcazar Theatre), Marine Disco, Tony's Disco, etc, etc.

Just dress fashionably, not as if you are looking for "business" and it should be easy for you to get in.

Thanks for the information though. Id probably be out and about around middle of August onwards. For sure, Ill check out these places.

How far is Pattaya exactly? An hour's cab ride maybe?

It is a bit confusing since Chonburi is also the name of the province, but the clinic and hotel are located about 1/2 way between Bangkok and Pattaya. It is about 45 min from the Suvarnabhumi Airport and about the same from Pattaya.

Check this link for a very good map for the hotel. The clinic and hospital are located nearby.

Well, I know better than to ask what you are seeing Dr. Suporn for, but he is very good. There is a good thread in Academics that discusses the best doctors for various procedures.

Hope this helps! Chonburi is not exactly a tourist hot spot so there won't be much in the way of night clubs etc.

I get the impression you are probably about 45 minutes at least outside of Pattaya, and a similar distance back to Bangkok.

ok, you're welcome! You didn't have to say what you are having done. Some advice though - take your pain medicine regularly for the first several days after surgery - probably 3-5 days at least. Do not wait until you actually have pain. This should speed up your recovery a bit. They will probably give you non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs - so best to take those with food to reduce chances of stomach upset.

She mentioned FFS which I assume is facial feminization surgery?

I went to this bar in Bangkok called Bed Supperclub almost a couple of years ago and it was so chic!
I might go there again tomorrow night. If theres anyone around the area, it would be nice to have some company around!

I live in Sri Racha which is the next town after Chonburi on the way to Pattaya. Basically Sukumvit highway links all these towns and there are numerous buses that arrive and depart every 10-30 minutes from Chonburi and go in both directions. I am not a big fan of Chonburi or Pattaya, but Sri Racha is a comfortable town with a nice downtown area around the Robinsons mall. Great night market every night with food, clothing and antiques(Thursdays).
