Shanghai update

I haven't posted much to the forum - my tales pale in comparison to DP, Billy, ....... but wanted to give a quick update on Shanghai. was out with some friends on tongren lu (near the Portman center, ritz carlton, its a bar street) last night, manhattan bar (and a few others), in breezes the fist of 3 or 4 lb's I saw around over the next couple hours (at least the ones I spotted). I could tell the one that came through the bar was Thai so managed to lose my friends for a few minutes and chatted with her - goes by Sandy, was here for a couple weeks, works Orchard towers in singapore sometimes, also bkk but didn't get where. I was a few into the wind but she was very passable and spoke english well...we chatted a bit but I had to go back to the table..nice girl as far as I could tell. saw several others walking the sidewalk and in and out of the pubs, probably another thai and what I think were a couple Chinese, didn't get a good look but what I could tell looked ok. One was tall and nice body. they do stand out a bit next to the generally tiny chinese girls. anyway, just wanted to pass on for those in shanghai, they are about, even thought things were a bit quiet due to the holiday here. I think they showed up around 1 or 1:30, nfortunately leaving today or I'd go back on my own tonight and see what's what.

Just a short update on the Shanghai Scene..

As the number of foreigners living in Shanghai has more then doubled over the past couple of years there are also more and more of €˜travelling€™ LBs coming to Shanghai, mainly Pilipino but also from Singapore and some Thai€™s.

Many of them hangs out at XinTianDi until 11 pm or so at night. As they are all non Chinese the LE won€™t mess with them. After 11 that the best place is still Manhattan's at TongRen Lu, A place really busy with loads of working girls (GGs) and some evenings up to 10-15 LBs.

As there are quite some threads with bits and pieces of Shanghai info, would it be possible to have some of them merged into a main Shanghai thread that we can updated over time?

while shanghai aint great, i did see a few LBs in the MANHATTAN bar... not to be confused with 'old manhattan' bar
didnt get a chance to chat them up as i was tied in with a GG but one that walked by answered she was from brazil. smoking hot but a post op i fear....
but i think that this bar would be your best bet in shanghai....

SB => True, not much of great value, you get quite some hits if you do a search but it's mainly just lot's of threads asking for info abt. Shanghai

I'm planning to visit shanghai soon. Having never been before I'm a bit worried about finding my way around and the language barrier. Any advice for a guy visiting shanghai for the first time?

They just came back a couple of hours ago...said it was brilliant and are already planning
another trip,maybe with a few more in tow...
I wouldn't mind going myself-It is twinned with Liverpool...so it can't be bad..

just use taxis' though that can be a little problem, best bet arrange a girl to meet you and take you around while you are there!
