I spent a few days in Nagoya, my first time there. For any GG action, Nagoya is very foreigner unfriendly. But, I am happy to say, the new half places I visited were quite welcoming. My theory on why they keep foreigners out of many places is probably half the girls not wanting to deal, and half not wanting to upset their Japanese client base. It does not surprise me, however, that I am finding at least the newhalf health clubs to be pretty foreigner friendly, and not as xenophobic.

I went to one called Nagoya NH, and had an OK time with a femboy, not really my thing. I did go to a place called Nagoya C-mail, and had an absolutely wonderful experience with a girl called Urumi. And like Aventure in Tokyo, this is a pretty nice establishment, and very costumer service oriented.

With my somewhat limited Japanese, and inability to read Chinese characters, it has been a bit of a struggle to locate information and these places. And, they are pretty expensive. But so far, I have had two amazing experiences out of three. And they were both the two best TS experiences I have ever had. Not bad, but of course I am dying more than ever to make that first trip to Thailand!

The average seems to be about 20000 yen for an hour, to 25000 for an hour and a half. That is $200-$250. But it is Japan. Lots of things are very expensive, and when you live here, you just get used to it.

And comparatively, I have had a much better bang for my yen/dollar, here, than I ever got in San Francisco, as far as TS goes. Of course, that might have been bad luck there, and good luck here.

Did I mention how much I am looking forward to Thailand? Last time I looked, trading yen for baht is a pretty good deal. Let's hope it stays that way.

Japan was very costly, I mean between hotel rooms, food, drinks and taxi costs alone, it was 100's of USD.

Adding to the above the newhalf girls or Lbs are not as easy to find in the city as Thailand but can be found if you go the the right places.

All in All, a trip once may be okay for some but others may want to avoid the place all together.

Those prices are pretty high, but pretty much in-line with what you might expect to pay a TS (non-FL) in the US. Actually, the high prices we see as Americans is more likely due to the weak dollar more than anything. Japan is expensive, there's no mistaking that, but I just got back from Tokyo a few months ago and if you're smart, you can have your vacation (or even just live there) for reasonable costs. Despite the weak dollar, I didn't find it as expensive as I remembered but maybe thats because it seems like the world over is getting more expensive (i.e. Shanghai, Mumbai, etc...).
