All, this is my feable attempt for a request for information. Currently in UAE / Dubai for a quick transit and I was wondering what the scene was here. The impression that I get is that this is not looked apon with a positive attitude, but at the same time, there must be some sourcing that can be had.

Any assistance provided in the short term would be appreciated.

I'm in Dubai mate and just about to pop out to a few bars tonight. Chances of you finding a LB are nil but if you want some Chinese, Russian or African minxes (YMMV) then there are plenty of places.

Jockeys (Panorama Hotel - Bur Dubai) for a pub atmosphere with ladies, the York Hotel (bar upstairs) for big booties, The Music Room (Majestic Hotel) and Seaview Hotel for live band and ladies of negotiable affection and best of the bunch, Rattlesnake in the Metropolitan Hotel. You'll pay to get in to most of them if the bouncers don't know your face - usually around Dh50 with or without a drink.

Kudos to Grinder and MattMatt for helping me with advice on the local scene in Dubau... To present a foregone conclusion, there is no scene and there is no hope of a scene existing. There threat of some sort of beheading or imprisonment also just didn't cut it for me.

The GG scene is alive and well, but kinda scary and ridiculous at the same time. Quite cosmopolitain, with varying service levels. There were some big assed ladies plying their trade and some butt-fugly ladies as well. The superstars command an extreme price that just wasn't worth it.

To sum up some great advice from Grinder's PM to me, save up and head to LOS.

Can't wait to get out of this dirt hole.

Hello Gurus

I visited dubai for few days and you can find prostitutes everywhere. About ladyboys, I found the following link where I have seen some "visiting dubai for 2 days only" type ads of  shemale and ladyboys.

You can find so many ads about prostitutes with their numbers and rates. IHO the rates mentioned usually outrageous. You can find better deals on the street. I was offered AED 200 per hour for 2 ladies. I didn't have time coz it was early hours and I had to catch my flight.

Some more insight into the Dubai scene - there have been some TS escorts visting the UAE until recently. According to a post in the TS-Dating escort forum, a number of TS escorts were detained in Dec, 2007. Apparently the police received a tip (allegedly from a "jealous" ts escort who wanted to cut down the competition) and they nabbed about a dozen escorts (in addition they rounded up a number of gg escorts). Also it is against UAE law to advertise "services" using a UAE telecom sim card number.

Since this happened the number of TS escorts visting Dubai has significantly declined.

Of course the prices listed were quite high - but a number of their clients could afford it.

Quite correct with that information and us mongers here are well aware of the 'ladies' who do come in to town for business but the majority of the sites you mentioned are, in fact, blocked here by the service provider so it makes no odds if we can't find their ads.

Grinder, there is a way to bypass the Etisilat/Du filtering blocking software and that is to use a subscription VPN. I use one in my country and it works well. Here is a link about it: Subscription VPN

Cheers boss - I have one way of bypassing but it takes an age to open the sites. How is your VPN for speed?

It's ok, but for streaming video it doesn't work that well - but still better than no access at all - for photos it is quick enough. Anyway, if you go away and let the video play once, the play immediately afterwards it will be pause for buffering. Just have a cup of coffee!
