The LB scene here remains light years away from the razzamataz of LOS but on the upside it's cheap and cheerful and there has definitely been an improvement in terms of quantity if not in terms of quality recently.
As you all probably know, Khmer LBs are the poor second cousins twice removed of their Thai counterparts. They don't have access to the hormones, surgery and fashion sense of Thai LBs and to those used to Bangkok glitz, they can appear a bedraggled lot, somewhat foxed around the edges.
Still, the explosion of hostess bars recently primarily full of GGs has allowed LBs a foot in the door. Many bars on St 136 and some on St 104 now have one, two or three LBs hanging around.
Barraza on St 104 usually has three or four and until recently had the services of Bobo - the cutest 18 yr old LB in PP and the nearest thing here to a superstar. She's a naturally stunning and convincing femboy and word is now that she's on her way to Bangkok to ply her trade so watch out! The rest are par for the course in a Pattaya soi 6 bar. $10 BF, $10 ST or $20 LT.
Updown Bar on 136 usually has three or four and is a curious place to find LBs as its a proper Pattaya style geeza's boozer. Two of the current lot are pretty tragic, one is passable and at weekends you can find a cute litttle superstar in the making shaking her booty upstairs. The latter is Emma-sized (OK, she's a midget) and a porcelein skinned Chinese Khmer. Cute as a button.
Flora Bar has a couple of so so LBs as does Great Palm Bar (also on St 136), in fact it's worth checking all the hostess bars on the block as the LB situation is fluid. I pulled with the LB friend of a GG working at Flora last week so zero BF, $15 LT and she cleaned my apartment in the morning as it was my maids day off.
For freelance action there is Gold Star night club further up St 136. This place is set up for rich Khmer teenagers but attracts the occassional freelance LB as does the pavement across the street. For street action, there is the circular road around Wat Phnom but you need your wits about you when dealing with LB freelancers in this town and my advice would be to take them to a $5 an hour ST hotel rather than to your hotel or residence (God forbid).
And then there is Blue Chilli Bar arond the rear of the Royal Palace. This is a Thai owned gay bar but one of the staff (Chinese mid 20s) likes to cross dress, is cute and reasonably convincing and will go party after the bar closes.

Hmmm.... In that case it's time we went there, paid the gals lots of money and ruined it for the rest of the planet!
