  • Travel information for outside SE Asia...

Stogie and everyone, what do you think to having a section in the travel info thread, regarding non scene countrys, like places we have visited.
While i am aware this is a LB forum, lots of us do travel to other places.
The info on this forum regarding travel, hotels and flights, throughout se asia is brilliant.

More a long the lines that a bm could put a request for info say usa, spain or wherever they are going??

Please dont slate me for this,it's only an idea!
i'm going where the sun keeps shining.................

    It's an interesting idea...

I'll wait and see if it gets any responses from other BMs...

It'd probably be tidiest to pin a thread eg. Other countries in the Travel Information Forum, and creating posts with hyperlinks to the relevant threads, where there's information on other places.

Ie. Other Countries - sub thread Spain with links to the numerous threads there have been over the years with questions and answers about Spain. Like these:

      Ibiza

      Barcelona

      Spain

This way there's no need to bloat the forum and we all can have a lot of fun using the search function, to collect old threads on LBs in Uzbekistan, Guatemala, Iceland, Andorra etc etc.

Do you think people will read? i was thinking more along the lines of travel info, but contact for shemales would be also included with a bit of luck.

        Example:

visiting cyprus, anyone know the average prices :beer, meals and all that.
        good bars /restaurants
        hotels
        sights
        getting around taxi's, buses
i'm going where the sun keeps shining.................

I think that is asking just a bit much, expecting a full travel guide for other countries.

Would this be the first site you would come to for this info, considering there are so many dedicated travel blogs going?

It would be nice to have it all under one roof but I doubt there is the demand for it.

It's taken so long to get all the news on LOS & that stuff is relevant, who is going to post pages on every other country?

I may be wrong but I don't think so .....
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

I'd be appreciative to get consolidated info from this board on Brazil. You can do word searches but there's not much. If there was a separate section folks might be more apt to post on topic.
San jose, Costa Rica has some stunning LBs prowling the streets at night. Hope to report on that later in year

I'm actually looking tonight for information on Costa Rica. Everything I've read says watch out for the street walkers in Costa Rica, but I've seen no real indication any work in bars.

Find a taxi driver you think is trust worthy enough. Tour Barrio Amon area at night. They're on street corners, some around Parque Morazon, a few skanks, some mind blowing passable gems mixed in as well. Don't walk around this area at night (re-read the last statement), you need to be in a car. There's short time hotels, Hotel Asia is one. Have your driver wait outside. Not sure how hotels feel about LBs as guests, they're seen as thieves, outcasts and a nuisance.
