Any tried these Hong Kong hotels?

Hi All,

Lot of info about LB's & where to find them in HK, but I didn't see much on hotels.

Just wondered if anyone has stayed at or has a review of any of the following Wan Chai hotels:

1. Cosmopolitan/Cosmo
2. JJ Hotel
3. Wharney
4. Charterhouse

I'm no stranger to HK, but have always been there on business (company paying) and stayed at up-scale places - Grand Hyatt, Renaissance, JW Marriott.

I found the above hotels by searching. And I know pretty much any place in HK is girl-friendly. How about LB's? Anyone had any problems?

Going for 3 nights in July and looking for something nice, but don't want to pay 2,000 hkd/ night. I'm esp. interested in the JJ which has rooms for ~500 hkd in July. I dont need luxury but just dont want to end up in a complete dump.

i have stayed at the Wharney its ok and opposite White Stag pub, ideal location. Ive also recently stayed at the Novotel in Wanchai and it was good, small but clean rooms and only 1,000HKD per night book online.

ok, thanks. I see the Wharney on LateStays.com for only 750. Probably go with that - I know the location can't be beat. Just down the road from Fernwick's, Neptune, etc...
