well, you are not going to like the answers, J......
I hope Salma see's this thread because she would know Cebu better than anyone, of course, but when I was there in 2004 [twice] all I saw was the Sunflower Disco and Ratski's in the Ayala mall and nothing were even worth writing home about. Sunflower is the bigger and better of the 2; the one saving grace is that it stays open very late. a smattering of ladyboys here and there; I saw Leslie/Amore there one night and also Sylvia [not on website but cute] and a few others. Ummmm... there are NO dedicated ladyboy beer bars or go-go bars and as I have said here before from what I have seen there is not a whole lot to do there.
Bohol.....never been there, sorry -
Bohol is a short hour ferry ride from Cebu City and is quite beautiful, especially Panglao Island. As far as LB scene goes....nothing. With the chocolate hills, old churches, river cruises, nice beaches, etc....it is a place to take a girl or lb and not a place to find one.brock landersComment

If you are a diver of courseDo only what you think it's good for you, and not what others think should be good for you!Comment

Vudu, The Village, Halo in ShoeMart Mall, a smattering of karaoke bars which believe it or not are huge ladyboy magnets cause the Cebu ladyboys love to sing LOLComment

Does anyone have experience or recommendations on the best way to fly to Cebu from the US west coast? Is there a better day to fly, better airline over another? Or any little travel tips? I have a current passport. Does a Verizon cell phone work over there? Or does one purchase a throw-away for US people to contact you?
I am planning a trip the end of November, without any international travel experience, so any practical information would be appreciated. Thanks.
Norm
