no probs..... keep in mind, as in Thailand these girls all know girls who knows girls who know girls, etc..... you meet one of the girls from the list and even if she is not all that hot she probably has many friends and remember all these PI types can cum at will, even if they do not look quite as good as their Thai cousins.

Thats the problem..Manila is the filthiest and most corrupt city on the planet.   Makati Greenbelt area and the area near Andriatico Circle are extremely modern and nice but step outside of those areas and all bets are off.   I have been to the Philippines 15 times in the last 5 years and have seen one attractive ladyboy in person.    I have also seen 1 on this site..Mika.     It's just not an LB destination IMHO....better off going to Bali or Jakarta if you need a break from Thailand and Singapore.   If you absolutely have to be in Manila or want a diversion from the Makati gogo girl scene(incredible looking girls IMHO), then Jai Dee is doing you a great service by setting you up with contacts as you might not be as picky or selective as I am about passable ladyboys.  Oxford Suites and Makati Palace on P Burgos a great place to say in Makati and loads of freelance ladyboys walking the streets.

agreed; I like Jakarta much better and while I will never return to Manila I WILL go back to Jakarta in 2006

Never stayed at those places but had a room with Nika at the New World Sheraton across from the Green Belt Mall last December; outstanding value for about 100US per night for a definate 5-star hotel. The rest of that city can blow up for all I care.

Don't forget little Jessica; she is 100% passable in every way and damned cute.

well, Brocklander doesn't like the PI ladyboys and that is pretty common here, no offense taken; but to say they are all non-passable just by some photos or by the ones he has seen on the street is over-simplifying the matter and not really fair. "Passable" to me is seeing someone who could sit at Thanksgiving Dinner with your parents and family and no one would know she was a boy; at least 15 of the PI ladyboys I met could pass that test, from Trisha to Amore and Angela and definately Chelsea in Cebu to Nika and Jesica and Christine {Cheryl } in Manila. They are there; Philippines is a big country, you just have to find 'em.

Well Trisha and Amore are decent looking ladyboys but I guarantee you they would be dead giveaways at my families thanksgiving dinner. I could pick about 40-50 Thai ladboys on this site alone that would pass that test and another 25 or so that I have seen in person that havent been photo'd on this site. We will just have to agree to disagree on this one. The problem is that the billyboys in the PI dont have the money to pay for hormones and plastic surgery like their Thai counterparts....likely because the Philippines lacks the same tourism dollars that Thailand does and because the Philippines is one of the poorest countries in Asia.

Just curious, you really changed your mind quick about trips to the Philippines and I was wondering what brought this about. Were you a victim of violent crime in the PI? Did the police mess with you? One of the girls steal from you? etc.

well, this is a touchy subject and I hope that Salma does not read  this thread because I have to walk a fine line between offending her and speaking my mind. If so Salma, please realize that this is no reflection on you or the other nice ladyboys I have met there and I still stand by my original conclusions from my trip there in 2004; PI ladyboys are much better girlfriend material than the Thai's, speak much better english and over-all their peformance in bed is much better in my opinion and there is no hormones to fuck up their ability to have good sex.

  Now.... with that said I really don't like that country as  a whole.  I was never a victim of crime and never even talked to a policeman and never got jacked by any ladyboys.  But the city of Manila is a shithole; it is hot and smelly, sweaty, dirty, crowded, the taxi drivers are from hell and the traffic is horrendous.  Add in the fact that there are no ladyboy bars there and the nightlife sucks and I see no reason to ever go back and I never will;  I guess comparing it to Bangkok is where I am let down, there is no Nana Plaza or Soi Cee and it is frankly annoying.

 The only other city I have been to is Cebu. decent place, but no nightlife! the beaches and the water are OK, but if you have a place like Phuket which has tons of bars and better nightlife and more ladyboys, why would you need this place? I couldn't even rent a motorcyle there last time, there were no rental places  to be had; in Phuket they are every 20 feet and I always get one and explore; it is just not the same there and if you stay on Mactan Island where all the nice beaches are you are 45 minutes and 10 dollars in a taxi to the disco's downtown, which frankly are not worth it.

   Quick story....... after my 3-week trip to the PI in february 2004 [in which I got 80 new models, 15 of which have never left the can because they couldn't make the main site] I really had a thing for our model Trisha.  Still do; she is a great kid and I really can't find any faults with her. So I made plans to go visit her; I had some time off last November and set it up for 2 weeks, only with her. she was happy and I was too; UNTIL I got there!  Man, after 3 or 4 days I was pulling my fucking hair out; she would work every night at her cabaret and I would stay at my resort watching the tube or reading, there was literally nothing else to do.  I was at the Maribago Blue waters, one of the better resorts on the island, but if you have ever been to Mactan you will know there is nothing to do there except hang at your resort. There is a small mall that is 20 minutes by taxi; they have an ATM and western food and I would go there to eat some shit, Trisha would come back from her gig at 11 or so, we would stay up and have fun until  2 or 3 and then crash till  noon.  In the daytime, you can swim at the resort but that is about it and I was bored senseless, then she would go to work again at 4 and I would be on this resort with nothing to do; in Phuket or Samui I would have all sorts of crap to do, and just walking outside your hotel or taking a motorbike around there is a plethora of shit going on; in Mactan,  nothing!  Trisha  would come back, we would have a meal by the pool [the only ones there] and a few drinks and then head off to bed.  for  married couple, OK, but for a traveller who is used to world-class nightlife I was losing my mind.

     Final straw..... the fucking touts.  those people are the most annoying in the world, kind of like Jamaica but not as black. even on the resort you can't get away from it, people yelling at you and asking you to rent or buy something and acting like I am a walking ATM [which I guess I am to them].  Annoying as hell. On about day 6 I wanted to rent a boat for me and Trish; 50 bucks for 6 hours, a nice big boat which could hold about 10 people. OK, cool.....so me and Trisha and the captain and the first mate, right?  wrong.....  2 really annoying  sales ladies came along for the whole day with their basket of useless fucking trinkets!  I was amazed; after about 30 minutes I realized they were on the boat just to sell us [me] their shit that I don't want and we were too far out to turn back and dump them off but man was I pissed.  the captain also had some other people on there, maybe his brothers or cousins or something, so all told we had about 10 people on this boat which *I* had paid for and I wanted a nice quiet day with Trish, not being hassled by poor sales ladies with their fucking baskets of useless crap and sad faces because I wasn't buying anything and some 20-something clowns along for the ride uninvited.  when that boat docked at 4PM I let that captain  have it and the 2 skanks also; I was in no mood to be cordial by then.

   it was that day I decided to leave, even though I had 6 or 7 days left and I had pre-paid and couldn't get my cash back.  I was bored to tears; I was tired of the hassles with the touts; there was nothing to do and I couldn't even rent a motorbike like I always do wherever I go to explore. I kept saying to myself "I could be in Phuket/Phi Phi right now" and that is exactly what I did the next day, flying to BKK and then on to PKT the next day for the remaining week and I loved it; I was "home".   the final last insult; that night I wanted to go to the ATM at the only mall on that whole island and went out to the taxi area outside the resort; I was in a pissy mood already and jumped in the first one I saw.  some clown comes
 over and says "where you go"? I said Mactan Mall; he says "400 pesos"  for a trip I know is 120.   I got out, slammed the door, swore at him like a sailor and got it back from him and 3 of his buddies and they would have killed me had I not bolted back into the resort.  They called a cab for me there, I paid the 120 on the meter to go to the ATM, and couldn't get the fuck out of there fast enough at 9AM the next day.  I missed  Trisha's beauty contest 3 days later that she had prepared for for weeks and wanted me to see and I never even  got to see Amore/Leslie, who still won't talk to me to this day.

 Trisha was understandably hurt and this aborted vacation was no reflection on her; she is an amazing person and sexy as hell.  I just can't stand that place at all and will never go back there; man, I wish we could import that ladyboy sexuality  and lack of mercenary attitude to Thailand where some of the girls could use lessons on how not to turn guys off and being into another person for something other than money.   Those PI ladyboys are really special, but their country is not.

  I have found my paradise..... that is where I will stay

I met this guy in Bangkok who was from England and lived in the PI, I told him I was thinking of going and he said dont 'cos its shite, he was a miserable bastard and i thought it was just because he didn't know how to enjoy himself.

A friend of mine loves the PI, because of the nice LB's (well-spoken, better educated than their Thai sisters and no hormone junkies) and the fantastic beaches which you can't compare to everything you might find in Thailand. They have probably the best beaches in Asia - in terms of water and sand quality and nature setting around.
But this guy lives in BKK, so he is pretty spoiled and the PI's are a perfect holiday destination for him. As JD said, if you are coming from "No-LB's Land" and having just a couple of weeks holidays a year and want to have it all...... then it's the LOS - for sure!
