..after making an online reservation with CEBU PACIFIC AIR i receivied this online mesg: 
..LIKE WHAT OTHER CREDIT CARD CHOICES DO I HAVE, DINERS CLUB!! 
Well i was pissed, here i planned my trip on making a connection from BKK to MNL & now they won't accept our credit cards!?? I knew the $ was worth s**t but i thought our credit cards were still worth something! So luckily they had a number to call if u couldn't book online & was going to raise hell with them about not accepting any US/UK credit cards! Turns out it's the credit card companies here in the U.S. that won't approve overseas transactions apparently due to ID/credit card theft.. anyway she said they would accept my card if i booked the flight over the phone so she took all the info & confirmed my reservation; actually it was $7 cheaper over the phone than online due to the currency value. So the fare in $s was $157, pesos was 6519, in THB 4950 taxes & fuel surchg incl.. Online u pay in THB bcuz ur leaving from BKK; over the phone u pay the fare in pesos bcuz ur making the reservation from their call center in the Phil. but is converted to $s thru your VISA card.
..so, if u try to make an online reservation thru CPA call them 1st & don't try the online reservation because it won't accept your credit card if you're a US/UK resident..
