quite difficult to get good info online i found for pi.
i pay 30K including all bills for basic furnished studio appartment in makati with pool and gym. if u don't need pool/gym and don't need aircon 24/7 u can pay 15k and less outside makati.
good place to look is craiglist- or post an ad there saying ur requirements, but i'd advise against agents and just get addresses of appartments then spend a few days checking them out on arrival.

There is a forum at
www.livingincebu.com
You can find a lot of stuff on rentals there including photos and which parts of town (including Mandaue) in which to live. Rent can be cheap but be wary of add-ons for fuel, taxes, maids, etc. Cities are poor in PI but the smaller towns like Laguna and Tagaytay are better and some beach areas superb.Dexter Hines
