There are a number of networking sites that work well for making dates in the Philippines - Friendster is the most popular, but Face-link, Face-pic, Meetladyboy, and Dragoncastle are also good

As the show is in a fairly isolated beach resort - and caters primarily to bus loads of Korean tourists on holiday - taxis can be scarce, recommend you strike a deal to have your inbound driver wait for you or expect your call for a pickup after the show

Ayala and SM malls have both been recently extended and improved.

The Ayala Bo's & Starbucks cafe zone isn't really there now. The cafes are still there but there are new empty boarded up premises awaiting tenants so it just doesn't work.
There does not seem to be any one congregation place as yet as there are now many more cafe bars in the Terraces of Ayala, many good resturants too.
I find sitting outside the cafe Figaro on the 2nd floor good. I am married to a ladyboy so I am not on the hunt but I see many Lb walk by Figaro and a smile always gets a smile back. I havn't tried it but I am sure a wink or a wave would do the rest for you.

Come to think about it, I have been approached by LBs while standing still for 5 minutes waiting in several places in Ayala. There you have it, just enter mall, stand still and wait.

There were several places in Angeles City around 1,000 per night (Ponderosa and DM Residente) and even 1500 for Manila.

Surely there must be some cheaper / ok standard hotels in Cebu. I'm not there to look at the furniture and I'd rather give my savings to a girl than waste a heap on accomodation.

Mango Park is the one of the most affordable hotels within walking distance of Mango Square and Fuente Osmena, and a good option for your first night in town

Others may be found by walking around the area, but will not be much cheaper than 1200-1500 pesos per night

Mango Park is the starter at 1750 per night.... includes wireless and breakfast. Not too bad, but adds up over a couple of weeks. That can pay a year of some girl's college fees. Darn, maybe I ought to find a cardboard box on vacant block
