  • Best pi tourguide

anyone visiting cebu NEEDS to have a tourguide, or valuable time will be wasted. I have met Salma in person and she will hook you up right away. she knows the best places to stay and best ladyboys to be found ( not no mention that she is smokin hot herself).
PM me if you need more info.

Also, once your plane lands in Manilla, how long does it take to get to Cebu. Is it a struggle or plain sailing. Also whos the chick in your Avatar......just my type....

easy to get to cebu once you land in manila...just tansfer to a local flight while you are at the airport and away you go...barely an hour in the plane and you land in cebu. it is definately smooth sailing.
the girl in my avatar is a gg in taiwan...an escort but you will need a suitcase full of money, and has the mega-rich forming a line to get an appointment if she is in the mood...most expensive i ever seen, and the MOST stunning i ever seen as well... and i been all over this world. best for me to utilize her as only an avatar hehehe.

I second all opinions above (love the avatar)

Some recommendations for your trip to Cebu:

Both Cebu Pacific and PAL offer frequent flights from Manila to Cebu - CP gets my vote for efficient, on time, and super friendly

Enjoyed a 1/c upgrade and a nice conversation with a deadheading 757 captain on the way down to Cebu

As I was seated next to one of the flight attendant jumpseats on the return flight, I was fortunate to enjoy a fun chat with a striking and incredibly tall flight atttendant  (former college basketball player) on the flight back to Manila

BTW, weekend flights have the CPA cabin staff in casual uniform - short-shorts, golf shirt, and sneakers - very cute

Sadly, I did not have sufficient opportunity to take advantage of her proffered mobile number once in Manila

Which reminds me - once in country, a pre-paid sim card for your mobile phone will ease your communication efforts considerably - can be obtained inexpensively at a phone shop in any large shopping mall in Manila or Cebu city (regrettably, not available at either airport)

Another thought - do allow sufficient time to move from the international terminal to the domestic terminal (and vice versa on the return flight) of the Manila airport if you are connecting directly

Once in Cebu, the airport (along with several of the five star resorts) is located on Mactan island, about a 30-40 minute cab ride from the city

On my long weekend there, I eschewed the resort scene in favor of a downtown hotel in order to conveniently sample some real Filipino food, clubs, people-watching, and shopping (Ayala mall is handy and inexpensive - pack lightly)

My last night in Cebu was kicked off in great company over dinner at a wonderful restaurant next to the mall whilst simultaneously enjoying the outdoor concert (Angela Bofill, a mestiza Filipina jazz vocalist) in the adjacent courtyard - fun and memorable stuff

City pleasures notwithstanding - if you wish to venture further afield, the pristine beach venues (Malapascua, etc) mentioned in previous threads are a fair drive on country roads from the city (as much as 3-4 hours depending on day and time if day)

Traffic and road conditions can make such a trip a tedious one

Whether you hire a car & driver (surprisingly inexpensive and very good VFM), take the bus (very inexpensive, but be sure to pay a bit extra for the 'air-con' bus), or insist on obtaining a self-drive hired car (expensive from the worldwide agencies, much less so from local rental car companies), do take travel time & energy into account as you plan your itinerary around the island

Regarding 'tour guide' assistance - indispensable

Salma is indeed a genuinely friendly girl as well as an efficient and knowledgeable guide who will go out of her way to ensure you have a great time in her city

If you invest some time and effort to get to know her (through chat or e-mail) before your trip, you will likely be immediately comfortable with a new friend upon your arrival

I suggest you be clear in expressing your desires - that is, '1 on 1' time with her, or 'butterfly' with some of her many friends - in order to avoid any unfulfilled expectations on either side and so ensure a fun time for all

Either way, your  trip will doubtless be a memorable one - enjoy
