Hi, my 'girl' and me are going to get each other tested in manila (she Singapore beauty, my fat UK guy). Neither of us are local to manila so no idea how it works. Can you just turn up at any of the hospitals?

You can try the Action for Aids place in Singapore (little India area). It's completely anonymous to the authorities, as long as you don't mind grabbing a ticket and waiting in a room with 10-20 other people. I went there a couple of times after a drunken bareback episode and a ruptured condom.

Yup, Singpore is out of the question. she specifically wants to get tested outside singapore. Are tests in philippines hospitals dodgy? Can you just walk into a hospital or is that not how it works.

Medical training in the Philipines is mostly to a good standard and if you get a test from a hospital or clinic it should be fine.

I think Tururot's alluding to the edemic corruption in PI. ie. you could buy a test - but I realse that's not what you're after.

Don't know about the way you would go about it though as it's a very long tme since I was in PI and we used to just get a local doctor to call round.
