I hit message centre, it takes me to my inbox. When I hit the inbox, it highlights, but then nothing happens.

Have you tried reading messages from the top menu?
What type of device are you using? Have you tried another browser?
Maybe clear cookies? Is it loading or have like an hourglass type of thing?
I can't replicate any issue.
