Could any of you Gurus help me out with advice for a new camera.
I guess I need to get inrto the tech age and get a digital camera. Can any one suggest a cam that even a cam newbie can comprehend. Any ideas would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance men
I assume its a digital compact you're interested rather than an SLR - therefore I would wholheartly recommend the Canon Ixus 750 (aka Powershot SD550) Review Link
As for cameras, I am very happy with my Sony-T9. Its small enough to fit in my pocket, takes great pictures and movies, and has anti-shake (which is very important for cameras this small).
Its being replaced by the T30. http://www.steves-digicams.com/pr/so...06_t30_pr.html
i'm not a photo lover- i just like to take a few of each girl to remember them by. so i'm in love with my tiny casio exilim ex-m20. its only 2 megapixels (not good but ok) but it's also an mp3 player so i stick around 20 albums on it and hook it up to my speakers in the room, and hey presto! i now don't hve to worry about my cd player or camera going missing because i can always hear it. stick some nice fuck music on and take photos when required. also does short videos too.
best thing is that its smaller than a credit card and really thin so its easy to take anywhere. worst thing is there's no zoom but that just means you have to get up close and personal when taking those 'intimate' shots
I bought a Canon SD400 before my last trip and was really happy with its performance. I wanted something small with good resolution and low light sensitivity. This camera is ultra small too... the size of a deck of cards! It's so small you can stick in in your pocket and it's like it's not even there... but it is for those special moments when you need a quick pic. The camera fires up right away.. within seconds on the power being turned on... you get that shot! It also shoots video too. The price was around $300
Keep in mind that the photos in the threads have been compressed for the internet. The full 5 megapix raw photos are close to 2 megs each and are very sharp!
vangough05...
About time you get one...
I'm not that good with cameras..But try to get one with remot con. My camera is Pentax Optio s45 but they have a new one which is waterproof..If it has a remote that will be my next camera...So I can take LBs photos giving me a BJ under water
PS..
I just did some search and f...k Looks like only the "S" series got the remot
For me th most important thing is the shutter speed. Always a problem with digi cams. SLR are of course the best here. But if that's too bulky for your needs, have a look at the fantastic Sony DSC-V3. An older model from 2004, so you should get a good price. It's one of the best cameras I've ever had! http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydscv3/
