  • Trouble Signing Up

    Hi everyone,
I have been trying to rejoin AsianTS for a couple of months now and I was wandering if anyone else was also having a problem? The problem seems to be tied to CCBill as any site that uses them I have a problem with. Basically, after filling out all the signup info and clicking the submit button, the page just times out and goes to an error page. CCBill of course says it's a credit card issue, but there is no issue with my card.
Anyway, if anyone else is having an issue, please let me know so I can at least say it's not just me!
    Thanks,
    tmurph63

I think he's talking about the Asiants.com site.

Since you're having problems joining any CCBill site then it would have something to do with you... I would try using another browser like firefox http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
and see how that goes... you might even wants to try a different computer... if that still does not work then it is a credit card problem... try another card if you can.

        Thanks

          Bam,
Thanks for the reply. I have already tried each of the things you suggested but has not worked. I have even tried going back to IE6 since it seems like since the problem may have started after the upgrade to IE7. The other computer I have tried is a second computer here at home. Maybe I need to try another computer on a different ISP. I am working with CCBill to try and figure it out.

If anyone else has any ideas, I am open. If I get it figured out, I will update here for everyone to see in case they are having trouble too.

Well - you seem determined so I hope you (and we) learn something that can make CCBill easier for more people to use...

But there are numerous other ways to pay, so when you have exhausted your patience with CCBill let us know!

If you do figure it out please let us know since there may be many others out there with the same problem and it's not good for business when people can't join.

Since we don't control what CCBill does we have no control over this and only they can fix it if there is a problem.

Since both your computers act the same way the problem might be with your ISP. ISP's change to a different port when a SSL connection is requested. If this port is being block on your router this might cause a problem when you try to submit the signup page.

Unfortunately because this is a SSL connection (Secure Socket) using a proxy will not help you in this situation.

                Good news!
The problem appears to have been my wireless router. I bypassed the router and made a direct connection from the dsl modem to my network card.

Your router is blocking port 443. This is the port used for SSL communications.
