I found this photo quite sobering. In the book "The Damage Done" Warren Fellows and his 2 fellow inmates Paul Hayward and William Sinclair are sent to "Maha Chai Prison" the Special Bangkok Metropolitan Prison on Maha Chai Road (now the Bangkok Corrections Museum).
He says in the book that he had heard stories of unpopular inmates being put in special balls made of ratten, with nails inserted and the ball is then kicked around the yard by an elephant. When the elephant eventually got bored it would crush the ball and the guy inside to a pulp.
I found this story hard to believe until I stumbled across the museum back in February while strolling in Bangkok.Attached FilesI'm a stranger in paradise... All lost in a wonderland. A stranger in paradise...
