I'm a big fan of the Canon S90, its a full featured camera with RAW capability and manual controls that I can easily carry around. It also has a low light mode that works great in bars 
Canon today announced the S95, which from what I can see is a rather minor upgrade, with only one big improvement - 720P HD video.
for those of you interested you have two choices, get the S95 with better video; or get the S90 at a cheap price as places start selling out inventory.
You won't go wrong with either.
