Video Uploads

Any advice on some Key aspects of upoloading my own videos to this fourm?
I know how to save to files & edit frames but I need help with file size and File exstention types (ie.) WMP yadda,,,yadda,,  stuff like that.
Or do I have to post it on another websites server for the forum to view?

 I'd love to post a video of my new Ass-Wipper in full action while I shoot a chopper down.

  Thank you.  I will give it a go on Monday.  But I'll play around with the software for the next few days.
Any recomendations on software for my camera:?  I have;  Canon camera with Pinnicale Video,  Adobe Video/photo shop and what ever Windows Vista comes with.  
It probable doesn't really matter as long as I get my file size and exstinsions correct Yes ?
