help with email

Hello lads, can anyone help me with a email problem....

Have googlemail and i want to send the same letter to about 100 people...... I dont want the people on the list to see the other 99 that i have also sent the same crap too......

is there any way for sending without them knowing it is a multi person email and also not going straight into their spam bin?

No problemo...

Under the address line, the "To:" bar, there is "add cc / add bcc"

Click on bcc & put all the addresses in there. BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy I was told, anyway, the other addressees see nothing except their own address.

I don't know if gmail allows you to create distribution lists. If no - you may be limited to the number of addresses you can put in the BCC.

Otherwise, it's remarkably simple to do. Put your own email address in the 'send to' and then add the distribution list or the individual addresses in the BCC (Blank Carbon Copy) line. NOT the CC (Carbon Copy). Essentialy you are sending an email to yourself and all the people that you put in BCC but they will not know who the other people are.

As for your email being placed in their inbox and not their spam box. That's up to their  way of setting up their spam filter and there isn't much you can do about that.
