What is blocking the forum?

I have been asked by a bunch of BMs to let Admin know that they cannot log into the forum.

Bigmick is amongst them & he has tried everything. I joined them on MSN & discovered I was the only one who can access the forum.

So I have the task of alerting someone there is a problem. These people are desperate, please send help...

pacman, ask them to try again. Every time the forum goes down, it seems the ban controls for spam prevention go overboard and stop legitimate users to log on. I've removed all the filters for now, so ask them to try again.

The forum is back on lne.

There was a major server blow out yesterday and our drives were moved to a new one (or the motherboard was replaced.) Either way I apologise for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused.

Looks like the April Fool was on all of us in the end.

Anyway we are back on line and should be available to all.

There are still a couple of issues to work on but it shouldn't affect the fast access you are used to having for this message board...

There is still a problem with our UK & Irish members.

They can't log in & when they try, the connection times out.

I hope there is something that can be done, they are starting to suspect a conspiracy theory.

I have emailed the server company and asked them to look into this... They are usually pretty fast...

And he tells me he cleared his cache, cookies & privacy data...

Hold on folks, he hasn't given up.

OK, we have success. All the BMs tell me they are now in...

cleared cahce and privacy data on both and restarted

didn't work for another 20 minutes but both working now

phew!!
