Censored access

I did a search on this but couldn't find anything relevant. Someone I know wants to access the forum from Iraq, but apparently the local bluenoses censor anything to do with s*x. Is there any easy way to bypass this so that he can get access?

I seem to remember that someone else in the Middle East had similar problems, but can't find the post now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Get your friend to invest in a VPN (Google it.) as they are cheap and are best at doing the job of getting round federal killjoys.

There are also several 'proxies' which may or may not work also...

Try Hotspot Shield. You'll find it on Google. It's free and it works most of the time, with just the very occasional glitch. Just recently, they've started to interrupt the service with adverts every now and then, and you can lose the page you were looking at and have to start again which is a bit of a pain, but not the end of the world.

Thanks for all of the replies. I'll pass the information on. He's apparently visiting LOS early in 2009, so I guess if he gets onto the forum he will be posting more requests for information of his own.
