Computer Problem

Hello chaps, i have a problem with my laptop - it comes from a business and is therefore second hand, it has been wiped with some magic software so it is completly bank.
I have installed windows xp on it, and all works fine, until i turn the basterd off, turn it on again and the laptop has forgot that i have installed anything and it is completly a blank slate again.

Any ideas on how to fix this please?? im going to los in a week and i want to take it with me. i could get some asian chappie to look at it but id rather get it sorted before i go so i can concentrate on fucking arseholes.

The BIOS may be set to boot up from a CD or another drive other than the C drive.

Try going into the BIOS and finding the 'boot order' and then changing it so that C drive is at the top of the list... (assuming you have Windows installed on the C Drive.)
