Hi, sports fans.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Another new member here posting an intro. An American expat and have been based out of Singapore for 10 years now. Finally had to pull the trigger for work and start traveling to Bangkok again--fully vaccinated, but currently serving my quarantine in an ASQ hotel. Excited to get out and explore what I can on this visit to Bangkok. Would be great to hear any advice or tips from those here currently during the outbreaks. I'm not brand new to the scene, but green. Mostly using ThaiFrindly, Feeld, and Tinder so far to meet people but don't have anything lined up yet.

I have spent nearly 18 months in BKK and Thai Friendly was always very good for me...
I have not been in BKK for over a year now so not positive what is actually happening on the streets but...
I recommend a walk around the Nana Plaza area...all the way down just past the Royal Ivory Hotel there is (was) the Chaos 9 LB bar...worth a try.
And there were always a handful of freelancers hanging out on both sides of Soi 4...inside Nana Plaza I think Obsessions is still open...a fine selection of hotties in there.
And then a stroll up Sukhumvit Rd to Soi Cowboy was sometimes lucrative...plenty of freelancers on the south side of the road...and outside of Thermae Bar there is always 2-3 hotties.
I still recommend Thai Friendly...only had 2-3 flakes in nearly 2 years

Thanks for the warm welcome and well wishes fellas. Appreciate it. Tragically, all I can see right now is the city teasing me from my ASQ hotel room window. I Will be staying in the Silom area once I clear my quarantine and will take the advice on the walking tours to meet some talent. I think I'm going to try and find a ladyboy massage joint first--do those still exist in Bangkok?

In terms of the underage folks, is that something I really need to be cautious of? Is it something that happens on Tinder and ThaiFriendly as well?

Welcome to the forum Squiffy! Good to have someone on the ground in Bangkok! All massage parlors in Thailand are closed due to the spike in Covid 19 infections. You can check Thaiger.com for up to date news on the situation and restrictions. I believe that all bars are closed as well, and restaurants are only open for take away/delivery.

After the restrictions are eased there were some lb massage practioners available on Soi 4 just up from Nana Plaza - but they were mixed staff ggs/lbs. I doubt that the lb massage parlor on Sukhumvit Road is still open - it was struggling even before the Covid 19 situation.

When bars are allowed to open again, Check In Bar is also a good place to visit - around Sukhumvit Soi 10 or so - you can find it mentioned in the Bangkok Bars section of the forum.

You do need to be aware of underage p4p workers - check their Thai ID, the current Thai year is 2564 - so they need to be born 2546 or earlier.

Hope to hear reports from you later on what you find - probably will be limited to mostly Thai friendly until things improve.

This was pre-pandemic...but I found EVERY Thai Friendly girl was willing to come to my hotel and spend about 2 hours there for 2000 Bht.
I imagine in these desperate times you MAY find prices have come down...I might even start the conversation with a 1500 Bht offer...
The underage kids are not common on TF in my experience...

U mean 2000 BAHTS? Cone to think of it those awfully young kids in front of the Novotel Sukhumvit 4 probably had fake ID'S. And the hotels didn't care. As I said before take pics of their ID'S along with their skin shots. Do check their ages at the same. Then hop over to Las Vegas for 5 days R&R. But first quit the expensive, nasal swab tests, stop quarantines, and accept my covid passport. Think these will ever happen?

I only have a few more days left of quarantine and then I'm going to get out and see what is really going on at street level. I'm hearing rumors that the current situation in Bangkok is going to be extended by at least a week. Not great for wondering hobbyists, but I'm going to continue to surf ThaiFriendly and see what I can find.

One question I have is that I have read in various forums is that more ladyboys than freelancers have their own place. I know Thailand is a relatively safe place, but is incall common? Also, as someone who is happily circumcised every time I'm here I have a hard time getting past some of the sausage looking cocks that are common. Any tips?

IMO in-call is not too common in BKK..in fact, you will discover that most LB share an apartment/room with multiple other LB...sometimes 4-5 in a tiny studio apartment!
