depends on what location you want but im guessing like most of us here you will want Sukhumvit.
Like katoeylover suggests asiarooms.com is excellent or needahotel.com. My favs are Marroit,Landmark,or you can book direct with Majestic Grande on their own website majesticgrande.com.
I have never beaten them on price while booking direct trough site.An added advantage is that they will require your CC details but you will not be charged untill you check out,only look for a guarentee for no show purposes. Great hotel in prime location and 5*luxury. Have a look.

Also try  Asia Travel

As you have left it close to your travel date also try  Latestays

For shear convenience for Nana though you cannot beat the  Landmark Hotel
I have never stayed their myself but I understand that it is a good hotel.


It's standard in Thailand to ask for credit card details upfront.  They will want to see the card when you check in and they will get you to sign for one night up front also.
I have never had a problem with this in 7+ years. It's just to make sure that you cannot renage on the bill

I think you did ask a simple question, and got a straightforward reply (and I dont always get reliable search results every time either).

Not sure that anyone was inconvenienced too much, and the title suggests Stogie is used to old questions - if that is the impression you got!

The search feature on this forum is too complicated, but with a bit of effort (about 2 minutes) you can get a lot of results for almost any subject.

The subject of how much LBs charge is so worn out it's worn out its' welcome frankly and you must accept a bit of a jibe or two if you think that this is a reasonable (and even sensible) question to ask.

prob what happened is that you may have searched under "Topic Titles and Posts" instead of "Topic Titles".

i haven't butterflyed too much recently but the going rate is highest in Bangkok and lowest in Pattaya with Phuket somewhere in the middle.

see if you can replicate what Stogie came up with, if not give a holler and someone will post some links.

you'll see it's a heated subject that somehow cause people to get very pissed off.
