I have never LT'ed a LB and am wondering from you seasoned LT'ers out there what you do. Go go to sleep at night with your LB next to you and your laptop and wallet and other stuff just laying around? I'm guessing the Marriot has a room safe, but probably Nana Hotel does not. Even so.... what about a laptop if you happen to have to drag one around for work and end up in BK?? Is this a legitimate concern?

I stayed at the Dynasty on my last two trips, which does not have an in-room safe. I also don't utilize the desk safe either as I don't feel comfortable leaving valuables up there. I just look them in my suitcase (usually discretely). For important things like passports, money, phones, etc... I make sure to hide them deeper in my luggage and if you have another compartment, I put it there and have a second lock. I've never had anything stolen that way as most girls are smart enough to know that they can't get away with it.I'm a rough-ridin', hootin' and hollerin', ladyboy lovin' cowboy! Bang bang yer dead!!!

Depends if this is a bar girl or a street walker, with a bar girl just hiding your valuables is usually enough. With a street walker things are different that are often more desperate and can't be tracked. If you are new here, don't go LT with a street walker.
Also, having the hotel take you friends ID is a GOOD thing."Snick, You Sperm Too Much" - Anon

Discreetly lock everything up almost as soon as you enter your room. Not when you sleep. If you shower, that is a good time for theft and has happened to me, however, it is truthfully very rare in Thailand. Your best protection is judging her character to start with. If you have doubts, don't LT.
