LB earning potential - pre vs post

Just curious if those in the know could commment on whether , on average, an attractive Thai LB will earn more as a pre or post.

Again, I say on average. Assume she's as attractive either way, and the only diff is down below.

I would say an attractive Thai lb would make more as a postop. There are a few postop lbs in Kings Corner who have made 20 million Baht over 5-10 years and own a BMW and a house (and yes I have met one of them).

However these are in the minority. I think that postop Nadeer and Nut are earning much more as postops at KC than they were as preops in Nana Plaza.

When they have SRS, they gain a much larger market of potential clients than being preop, as they pass themselves off as "gg"s in the bars they are working in. There are many more punters looking for ggs than preop lbs.

Also of course it it easier for them to work in the other Asian countries like Singapore and Hong Kong.

Of course this only applies to those working in the p4p (pay for play) business.

I know an attractive ladyboy in KC who earnt 12,000 Baht in 1 nite in KC just this last weekend , admitedly she had 6 customers that nite but still12,000 baht from a bar plus what her farrang boyfriends give her everymonth i think she was the envy of most ladyboys that nite .

What does an average American make? There is no average right. Or at least the delta from top to bottom is something like 700 times or so if I remember right. Well same here.

There are superstars, average girls, and the low end. These 6 per night, 12,000 is at best, 1 girl out of 75 in a bar. I also don't believe 20M baht. That is 2M / year = near 200,000 / month = 65,000 / month = 30 guys / month for 10 years.

The top girl in Cascades, Noon, gets about 26 guys / month. I do not know of any LB who is cabable of getting attention for 10 years and exceeding Noon.

The salary system in most bars is based on getting 7 customers / month; that gives you a good feeling for low end. Top end at 26, so middle is in the 10+ range / month = 15,000 / month = $400 USD.

Sorry, I should have also added these top earners at Kings Corner also have a number of sponsors besides their bar earnings. While I do not know the exact number, I have heard something like 5 sponsors at one time, which really increases the income levels.

Also the fees for the postops at Kings Corner starts at a higher level 4000 for ST and 8000 for LT. Of course this is negotiable in low season.

According to the Mamasan in Vodoo, the top post op *averages* 60 off's or barfines a month and all 6 post ops in that bar have higher averages than the GG's who work there. Having said that the GG's are a motley looking group at best, but still makes for an interesting observation.

Ironically in my mind is what do the top earners have to show for all this. Many of them just spend as much as they earn, be it 5,000, 50,000 or 500,000 baht a month.

I hope you're not an actuary.

One can estimate the effect of different factors on all kinds of numerical results, such as life expectancy, earnings, height, diabetes risk, whatever.

So, estimating the effect of SRS on an attractive LB's income isn't inconceivable.

Now, the problem that I see is the girls may just disappear from the scene. In the US, I've recently asked LBs at 7969 and Divas if they know posties, and these were LBs who've been around for awhile & seem to know a lot of people (e.g. Helen Wong), and they've said that they know few posties, and that those they know drop out of the business after SRS.

That could also cause some sampling problems: the hookers who are in it just for the money may be the ones most likely to stay pre-op, while most who desire post-op status may not necessarily envision being hookers. It could be they have a different mentality and set of goals. So, you've got all kinds of factors that could muddy the issue.

But, Rxpharm is right: once they've gone post-op, in many ways their overall potential is as unlimited as that of GGs. Consider celebrities like Harisu - I'd seriously doubt she'd have the opportunities she's had if she was pre-op - it would freak out so many men. I'm still amazed that her star burns so brightly, especially in comparison to Roberta Close, Dana International, Tula Cossey, Jahna Steele, April Ashley, and others who seem to be flashes in the pan in comparison.

Btw, in the US, I've heard of several LBs who've received a BMW or Mercedes from a boyfriend. That's pretty damned good, I'd say. That's around, what, 1.2 million baht, at least, right? (I'm totally guesstimating - I have no recollection of the exchange rate or the median BMW price.)

In these cases, they were post-ops from Thailand.
