Bangkok is more user friendly for a newbie, whereas (I am told) Pattaya has more and cheaper LB's, just a question if you can be bothered to go out and search for them.

I been once in bgk and I went to NANA, casanova. It's still the place ? or better patpong ?
nice and friendly hotel in bgk to spend the nite and hav some fun with LBs ?

My first 2 trips I just stayed in Bangkok but on my 3rd trip I wanted to explore more... this is when I did a side trip to Pattaya and wow what a totally different experience... it's WAY more wild in Pattaya and on my last trip I spent much of my time there.

Yes Nana is still the place to go in Bangkok. You now not only have Casanova for Ladyboys but Cascades, Obsessions, and Temptations.

it's pattaya difficult of far to reach from the airport... and sorry the ignorance : why pattaya sound better to you ?

Pattaya is easy to get to, just 2 hours by taxi or bus. A lot of people come to Bangkok first, then go down to Pattaya after a few days. But you can go straight from the airport.

Pattaya is the 'party place', discos don't close till 6am, people are out all night. Ladyboys are everywhere after 1am. Prices are also a lot less in Pattaya ( 1/2 at least )

Why dont you do both? Couple of days in Bangkok and then go Pattaya for a few more days or a week. Really depends on how long your staying here. Incidentally new airport might be opening on 28th September which as its located on the Eastern side of Bangkok will mean the journey time from airport to Pattaya will go down to just over an hour.

Personally I love both places but for a proper 'holiday' feeling Pattaya is a better bet as it a beach resort - but dont forget the actual beach sucks. Make sure your hotel has a pool.
