Like is there a secret school in the US that parents send kids who are gay to become actors? Or perpetual liars to train as politicians? And violent kids to become serial murderers? And it's all secret?

And like in the 21st century with TV and thousands and thousands of foreigners living in every city in Thailand, and people like us who know hundreds of LBs, and it's kept a secret from society for hundreds of years (because that's how long there have been LBs in Thailand).

This shows just how dumb the west is on gender thought.

Why is this notion so foreign to you? Seperate institutions for people with differences have always existed in both Western and Eastern societies. If you sit down and think about it, they are all around. To name a few, you have historically black colleges and universities, you have schools for the developmentally challenged, you have summer camps for people who are vertically challenged (i.e. they are midgets or dwarves), and in California and New York there were high schools started for gays and transgenders - although I don't know if they are still around now. There was some community outrage about there beign a breeding ground for the next generation of homosexuals, so I think that both schools eventually shut down.

I think I've listed off several perfectly good examples of when a minority has established a seperate instution of itself because it didn't felt like it could get along with what society offered. I'll admit the notion of "training" LBs is a bit absurd, but to have a school where the students were LBs were students would have some merit in my mind given the general society, educational environment, and sheer number of LBs out there.

There are terrorist training schools (aka Madrasahs) all over the Mideast, and I've heard there are some in the US.

We're not talking Nessie or Yeti's here, just something that may be kept out of the public eye. I know that they are not passing out flyers on every corner to have your son "become a ladyboy" but I've heard the same kind of rumours.  Just because no one has first hand knowledge, or second or third, doens't mean it doesn't exist.  It's probably in the phone directory under "charm school".
