Is there a school to train LB in LOS?

I heard somewhere that some (if not many) LBs in Thailand are moulded into being transgendered due to the influence of their family and peers.

Due to economic reasons, poor families with effeminate boys will send them to ladyboy schools to tutor them on the art of femininity and seducing men. They also get proper hormones to feminize their skins and their nipple/areola.

After a period of preparation at such schools, they will be sent to have a good at the ladyboy cabarets. If they fail those, they will end up in the bars of BKK and Pattaya.

How much truth is this theory?
Any hard evidence ?

I've heard something about this. Maybe it's secret from the public but this isn't the first time I've come across the Ladyboy Academy theory. It kind of makes sense, especially in Thailand since it is accepted. I think for parents, better that your son has gender confusion than gay. I don't know, is there a large gay community in Thailand?

Are you sure about that? Are you absolutely positive there is not an Eliza Doolittle School that Thai parents send their effeminate sons to? Yes, I know Stogie would know if there was one but just because he doesn't know of one doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

We're not talking Nessie or Yeti's here, just something that may be kept out of the public eye. I know that they are not passing out flyers on every corner to have your son "become a ladyboy" but I've heard the same kind of rumours. Just because no one has first hand knowledge, or second or third, doens't mean it doesn't exist. It's probably in the phone directory under "charm school".

I don't think so. From my (limited) experience in dealing with ladyboys all of them talked about being in an all-boys school through highschool. I guess it would be awkward to have your son sitting in a dress while everyone around him has got their proper shirt and trousers combination on, so in the back of my head, having a ladyboy school would make sense. But I seriously doubt there is on because 1) it would be an extra cost most families couldn't afford, 2) it probably wouldn't be socially accepted to create a school just for LBs, 3) i would think some, if not most, families would hold out on the possibility their son decides to come back, and 4) it would make too much sense and this is Thailand.
