  • oops.. something unsafe happened...

absolutely sorry to rain on your parade.
i hope this forum understands my need to ask.

    quite simply,
i was with LB last week.
we used condoms for everything, except wanking of course.
but then as i watched her jack off, and i did too,
i had her stick a fingy up my backside.
her fingernail made a little cut inside, i'm sure, as i have that unmistakeable 'cut in the but' feeling.
i dont know if she had her cum or pre-cum on her finger but she used the same one to finger me that waould have been rubbing at the top of her dick.
    i'm terrified.
because if she had the fluid on her hand it would have been right on the finger that cut and rubbed in.
any of you guys with more wisdom than i, please help with some advice.
i realize that there is of course a chance the girl wasnt infected, but she would be in a high risk group. i have read some reports here that suggest a percentage of workers in nana carry the bad seed.

    help .
    sorry.
    thanks.

    no need to worry.
i used to read through the letters on thebody, where there was all kind of scenarios from worried people.
i think if you asked a so-called expert, he would tell you, unless the girl had a open bleeding wound on her finger there is nothing to worry about. there would not be enough pre-cum to get you infected. pre-cum and even cum doesnt have big quantites of hiv, or so i have heard. i am no expert though, but i wouldn't worry.
fuck it man, you're in los, don't ruin your holiday by crap like that!!!

Suggest you make an appointment at somewhere like Bumrungrad and arrange to go and see one of their 'infectious diseases' specialists. They will be able to assess the liklihood of risk and what to do, which may include doing a viral load test which costs about 7,000 baht. This test looks for the HIV virus and can count to microscopic levels hence its so expensive. Otherwise they may suggest a month on Anti HIV medicines as a precaution but that can work out more expensive but its been proven to work in recent cases of exposure. Regular and cheap HIV tests will not pick up the virus if its there as it can take weeks for the body immune system to kick into gear and show up on these tests.

However having said all that, I suspect that the doctors might be inclined to suggest the likihood of any infection is so small, its not worth doing any of the above. They will in all liklihood suggest that the girl is tested as the most simple first step.

www.burmungrad.com is the website and on their doctor search engine look up 'medicine - infectious diseases' and they show all the doctors working at the hospital. For sure, if you go down this route, go and see one of them - they all deal with this day in day out and are some of the most knowledgable doctors on HIV in Thailand. Will cost about 500-600 baht for a consultation.

      Cheers
      Mardhi

thanks. i found this.... http://www.sfaf.org/aids101/transmission.html in the meantime...

is there any fair way i can get the girl to go... i dont want to be insulting or degrading to her though....

if i paid her to go... she might just pocket the money or not tell me the true outcome for fear of destroying her livelihood and reputation...

and because i am well known in bangkok business, and more or less married, i could not take her myself....

its past the 72 hours for emergency pills, so i guess i have to wait 3 months unless i can get her tested...

it really sounds extremely unlikely. surely she would have wiped her hands before inserting fingers, and i think hiv dies off pretty quickly once in the air anyway.
i really don't think there's need for you to worry.

Technically there exists some risk if she did create a cut.
            The question is, how much?
But before you worry yourself mate, you need to consider this:
Do you know if she is even hiv pos? She might not be.
Are you sure she had her cum or pre fluid on her hand? Maybe there wasn't any.
I don't know what the rumors are regarding infected workers in the bar in question.

There ain't nothing that anybody can tell you about what to think or consider regarding the cut.

Just get your damn self tested. It'll end your worrying.

And either way, you need to be better informed. Hell, even if you test negative, try this one: try asking what you would do if you tested positive. Start reading on the facts, the counseling, the personal stories, etc.

You can't think you're special just because of luck. Being smart can make you lucky. Depending only on luck is just plain stupid.

Okay, enough phrases. Back to the advice: do a day of role playing: figure out what you would do if the doc said you're positive. What would you read? What would you look for. Then go read it. You might learn some stuff on how others were infected, and then you know more about what not to do. It also helps prepare yourself should anything ever turn up bad in the future.

I've never tested positive, but I once did exactly as I suggest to you, and it made me feel a hell of a lot better about getting tested, about practicing safe sex and so on.

Retired the top 12.  Need a new dirty dozen.

Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon.  Is it possible to find 5 more?  Until then, GGs:  Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.

i know the doc is infected.

                    its quite sad actually.

did you read how he got infected?

he was performing a procedure on an advanced stages of aids patient and got stuck by a hollow bore needle where there was a lot of blood.

sorry but no lol there for me.

I agree with jonkeyes. If you listen to any advice on any of these threads, these people, though well-meaning, have absolutely no or verty little education re various STDs, including HIV. Yes, go to a qualified doctor. This forum is not for you if you have questions re STDs! But I do agree this forum is very useful in suggesting alternatives vis-a-vis the Forum!

Jonkeyes, I have done extensive reasearch on HIV virus. Pretty much what these other guys have told you is correct. Chances are slim to none. The Virus does die on immediate contact with air. it is a very fragile virus. so as soon as it came out of her dick the virus was most likely dead. Hope I was able to help.
