There are ladyboys practically everywhere in Thailand - however, you cannot expect to find the same kind and numbers of lb bars in Bangkok, Pattaya or Phuket in the smaller cities.

The best place to look for lbs in the smaller cities would be wedding studios, hair salons, check to see if there are any small cabaret shows. Also don't expect to find as many pay for play lbs in terms of percentage like you see in the bigger centers.

Karaoke is often where they will be.
Also at Discos and large drinking halls.

The times I've been in Thailand I have seen LB's in most of the department stores and at the malls, some of them working, some shopping, and some just hanging around. I actually find that meeting both GG's and LB's is pretty easy in some of the coffee shops, especially if one does not like going to bars.
