Help my dilemma

Hiya folks...I have a dilemma that I hope someone can clear up for me.

I am looking to go back to LOS in early January 2007. I plan to stay in Bkk for 3 -4 nights then perhaps Pattaya or Phuket. Now for the dilemma...I usually stay at the Swiss Grottino in Bkk and have never had a probs when it comes to bringing back tasty treats. However one LB who I have dated for a while knows that I live at the Swiss Grottin when in Bkk and I would hate to find her at my door at 2 in the morning. Cut a long story short... I need a very LB friendly place in BKK, that is not to expensive (900 - 1200 BT) and is close to all the usual hot spots.

If ya could recommend a place in Pattaya where the action is that would be great...I have given C and N in Phuket some thought, what do ya guys think?

OHH BTW...I need internet connection for my laptop...its a must!

Do yourself a big favour and click on The Travel Forum and you'll find reviews of loads of hotels for both Bangkok and Pattaya which are both well within your price range and lb friendly...

If you are only here for a couple of nights in Bangkok then why not try the rooms above The Guess Bar on soi 1? Only 650 Baht per night and they are large, clean and very discreet. Your stalker won't find you there!

As for internet access - pretty much everywhere in Bangkok and Pattaya has some kind of wireless connection available and I believe The Guess Bar has it coming in the near future...

Thanks for the response stogie! I have had a lng hard look at the information provided at the travel forum on Pattaya hotels. I am still struggling to find a place that really suits. I really need internet access in my room and have not been able to track a hotel that is near all the hot spots that have this feature.
I have send an email to the following places with the above inquiry:
Pattaya Centre, Flipper, Asia Hotel, Beverly Plaza, Sunshine hotel and res...so far the flipper has confirmed no vacancies, the sunshine has rooms but no internet..and the rest have not got back to me.

Please guys could you direct me to a hotel which suits. Price between 800- 1600 si fine...please I am running out of time.

Ohh BTW any address or website for the guess bar...could I just rock up there when I get into BKK...how do I direct the taxi guy? What hotel can I almost always get a room in that aint too shabby without making a booking when I get to BKK (just in case I can't confirm a hotel (guess( in BKK?)stogie?

Did you take some photos of the rooms there?
If so, can you please send them to me or post them here, you did show me the rooms and they looked good, ideal as you say and for discretion and of course next door to Guess Bar

At that price they would be ideal for me and Big Tel whilst being based in Pattaya, we could easily flit up to BKK occasionally on the bus when we feel like it

The only thing that worries me is do they contain a safe?
but I suppose if we were coming only for 1 or 2 nights at a time it would not matter that much

if all else fails.....try Dynasty Inn or Nana Hotel..close but your LB friend may be hanging around outside if she's a free lancer or bored after her shift at the NEP..................ALOHA

I booked a room at the Rainbow inn in pattaya and will be looking to book at the majestic suites or Dynasty in BKK. I am still intrigued with the guess bar. How does one go about booking a rom there? And where is the establihment....I know its in Soi 1, but what landmark is there, what do I tell the tuk tuk guy? Would they know the location?
