Just like yourself, that is how I hooked up with one of the early "superstars" from AsianTS. She was drop dead gorgeous, easy talk to, seemed well educated and when I told her I was going to be in Bangkok in two months she became even more charming. Here here agree with what poguemahon says as been there done that too.

A few of the Lbs that are clever with inet use this ploy to lure you in, I

commited all the newbie sins and nearly got stuck with an infamous nana freelancer who is wise t'inet to luring quite a few unsuspecting newbies her way.

Best advice which i never took is;

Make no pre plans with any ggs/lbs and go with the flow.

Only book your hotels/taxis thats all.

Sorry, that "mistake" is a thing of the past and will remain out of the public forum here. I mended my fences with the LB in question, we are good friends now and I intend to keep it that way. Likewise, I never discuss my personal life now with my "sweetie" here in the Forum. No photos, no explicit details, my postings are more of an informational tool these days to those who plan a holiday in Thailand.

Thank you very much. Best of luck to you in 2007. We are both very happy and look forward to our life together in our new home in Surin. A work in progress that requires my full attention on a daily basis but it is a challenge that I look forward to everytime I look at her.
