Sounds good in theory but would not work. Ladyboys are notoriously lazy and getting them up before late afternoon is almost impossible.

Very difficult to get them to stop going out late at night as that is when there friends are going out after work.

Best thing is to get some phone numbers and call the girls you have seen before in the bar or been with before as they are more likely to come and see you in the afternoon.

Well watch this space is all I can say - strong rumours are abound that a couple of LB's are planning on doing just that in a discreet location in central Bangkok, some 50m from a BTS station with a Short time hotel just a quick hop, skip and a jump a way.

Mardhi that is excellent news. Please tell your friends it will make money if they do it right- this means making sure theres enough girls on hand. Its worth laying some cash out on. If they open with too few girls the customers wont take it serioussly i reckon.

I think there would be enough of the non-lazy ladyboys who would get up for the benefit of non-drunk customers that would come by in the day time.

This may not work for you but IMHO the best way would be to get away from your friends for one or two evenings and go to a few of the ladyboy bars.  Talk to the girls that look good to you and tell them what you want.  You will find a few that will agree to meet you at your hotel in the afternoons.

I have been back from Australia for 5 days (and I will submit the second section of my trip report in due course, but I first need to have a moan).
This moan is directed particularly at those married men forever requesting information on how to find LB€™s in the afternoon.

The Guess Bar is the easiest way to deal with that problem. Sex is waiting for you and it isn€™t from some foul-looking drug-scarred LB walking the pavement between Nana Skytrain Station and Soi 3.

I took the attached photo this afternoon (5 January 2007) at 1640 hours and the girls featured had all been there since 1500 hours, watching some Thai soap on TV. (Well, one had not; she had been upstairs with me).

The key reasons for going:
€¢ There are a great collection of girls on the premises
€¢ There is no jealousy between the girls; you can go with one girl on one day and another girl on the next day (or immediately after you€™ve had the first)
€¢ There is none of the aggression from the girls found at other bars
€¢ There are rooms one floor up that are clean, air-conditioned, with clean sheets, clean towels, wrapped soap etc at Baht 350 for short time.
€¢ If you can€™t walk up one flight of stairs there is a lift (elevator)
€¢ There is no need to feel embarrassed about being in there €“ everyone would be in there for the same purpose.
