  • Attitude towards taking pictures

    Hi everybody,

I've been a member to this fantastic forum for a while, but to my shame I have to admit I haven't contributed a lot yet. This is probably due to my jealousy, as I saw all you guys being in LOS and having fun with all the wonderful LBs (and sometimes GGs).

But now my time has come! I will be travelling to Manila and Bangkok in may, I will take a lot of pictures for a series on architecture and culture (at least I hope I will succeed )

Aside from this "professional" shooting I want to take pictures in some bars and also in my hotel (when I am not alone there, that is). I wonder what it takes to make LBs allow me to take pics of them nude and while having fun. And will I get permission to take pictures of them in the bars too? Do I have to pay the "mama-san"?
Of course I am not planning to use my SLR-equipment but have a small Casio Exilim for that purpose. So I don't get all the attention

Before you shout at me, I used the Search function, but couldn't find anything (maybe I was impatient).

Another more private question: I would love to meet Witne, love her muscles I must admit. Any hints where I can find her now?

I really hope for your help, I definitely appreciate any tip!

    Thanks a lot,

    Freddie

I was in Cocktail & Dreams in Patong (Phuket) in November and Witne was working there.

Photo's in bars is problematic - you might come into problems in many bars. Guess Bar will shortly be changing their policy due to some guys taking advantage of the generosity of the owner and the staff. I know Jay will soon be bringing in a no photo/no video policy into the bar. The only people able to take photos will be Jay herself or her hired/chosen photographers. Personally I think its sad, but have to accept the fact that some guys have alternative motives. Any guy will be allowed to bring and keep a camera with him, but if anyone see's him using it, he will be asked to show and possibly delete the pictures and then possibly be asked to leave the bar. Shame really as 99% of guys just want some souvenirs, but its always the 1% that spoil it for everyone else. The issue in Guess is not the girls, but guys capturing other customers in the bar.

In your own room its up to you - however make clear with the girl what you want to do and be prepared to pay for the privilege - you could easily add a couple of thousand baht to whatever other arrangement you reach especially in Bangkok where girls are far more savvy and wary about pictures.

      Cheers

For a few extra baht there should be no problem in securing pics, but I also ask if they mind if i post them on internet. Some dont want the publicity.

Whatever the girls answer respect the decision. If you you already do photography professionally as indicated by your post you will already understand this. A number of girls have become weary of guys with cameras because Guys have said "photos only for me", and then discovered them plastered all over the net. Don't think they won't find out because there are posters on this board & others that get their jollies from showing girls stuff on the net. Girls have photographic memories, especially for people that stiff them. Some don't want their photos up on the net as they don't want to risk their families to find out what they do, even if the logic to this is a little skewed. Offers of extra money often smooth the waters.

Whitney Works at Cocktails & Dreams in Patong, and can also be found down Soi Crocodile usually after 2 am. Nice girl!

I agree... This policy is a shame, but it's overdue.

I have never paid more than my agreed price for pictures. Although I have tipped girls in places like outside the cabaret show etc to get a few snaps.

Like torurot says respect what the girls say so as not to spoil if for others and even yourself if you figure on returning to LOS one day.

I usually ask if I can post a pic or two some say no but will let me take them for myself others say fine as they see as some promotional material for them. Some will let you take clothed pics and others really could not care less.

Ask in the bar before you bar fine her that way she might be more inclined to say yes as she will be hoping you will bar fine her and if you ask when back in the room it might be too late as she knows she is already getting paid.

You may have to fork out a few extra baht but unless you are taking a professional shoot I doubt it would be more than a few hundred for a some keepsake pictures.
