Good on you for taking the chance and clearly she didn't walk out with your two most "prized" possessions and you even got to eat something decent for a change.. Life is good!
As one of the newbies here, I appreciate all that you and the other long term posters have put into this forum. This site is awesome!
The reason I joined the forum is not just because I'm a ladyboy admirer, but I am also looking for a place to retire and Thailand checks a lot of those boxes.
I read about your interest in retiring in Hua Hin. Is that still the case, or has the plan changed? I'd be interested in your insights into retirement planning for that part of LOS.
That is still the plan. I now have a VISA which should help me open the bank account when I go there on November 16. I also have a meeting with a Real Estate Agent to look at a few places. After three days in Hua Hin I will go to Pattaya to ....
TM, glad to see you're back in action here! Great to hear your plans are falling into place as well. I see you've sorted out how to change your avatar as well, good stuff!

It's a nice quiet place and great beaches I went to a hip hop festival there once.
So in May 2011 I come to visit my GF in Bangkok. Here and some LB friends were off to Hua Hin for the Honda Fanatasic 4 hip hop festival, and i joined them.
We drove out to Hua Hin from Bangkok which is a pretty easy drive of just over 2 hours. Due to my jet lag I got a little car sick on the way but after a stop for some thai
Also looked at some different real estate there, there is some nice places.
Not much of a mongering place but probably better than living right in the action all the time.
Some really decent priced rentals and the city is just big enough to have most stuff.
As Canadians we can try to give up our residency if we move out of the country.
If you give up your residency you don't have to pay taxes in Canada, but you still maintain citizenship and a Canadian passport.
However you cannot own anything in Canada anymore or live there full time. Also means no Medi-care and other benefits.
You can still get your old age pension tho.
These Americans don't have it the same as us. They cannot give up residency in the US and always have to pay US taxes no matter where they live.
Hi guys, planning a trip to hua hin and looking to try a massage with a ladyboy to start me off. Choose his Hin because it look a bit less full on than Bangkok or pattaya.
If any one know where I can go especially with a downstairs room I'd appreciate the information.

Hua Hin is super nice beach resort. It is fairly quiet on the ladyboy front but there is more information if you read around the forum.
There is not a lot of ladyboy massage places around other than one I know of in Bangkok, although some places may have a ladyboy on staff.
I have never seen a downstairs in Thailand actually other than in very large buildings and shopping malls, probably due to flooding there is few basements.
I've only been to Hua Hin once so I am not up on the ladyboy scene, although I believe there is ladyboys at the bars on Soi Bintabaht.
As you say it is much less full on than Pattaya and Bangkok so you may have to hunt a bit more.
If you are worried about discretion try to find a bar with short time rooms on site. Then you can go for a short time session without having to leave the premises.
Most of the time the short time rooms are upstairs in bars. Then you can try whatever you want, be it a massage or more.
There will be freelancer ladyboys working on the street that you could also take to a short time room, but you are usually safer to stick with girls from the bars.
I don't think there are any dedicated lb bars in Hua Hin - mostly beer bars that have a mostly ggs, and a few lbs. There used to be 2 cabaret shows there, but they have closed many years ago.
As for massage - they do have massage places in Hua Hin, but again, not any that are only lbs on staff. If your time is short, like a week or so, Hua Hin isn't really the best place to visit if you're main interest is to have a lot of lb encounters. It does have a nice beach though, and is quite popular with Thais for a weekend getaway from Bangkok.
I was planning on 3 weeks. Hua Hin is my start point, then Bangkok. See how it goes from there. Hua Hin sounds quite relaxed so it might be a good place to unwind. The LB's can wait a few days. I'll have to see if I can!

Hua Hin is a good place to take a Ladyboy for a trip. I didn't mind the lack of ladyboys there because i brought my own.
It is really quiet there and you don't have the tailors and masseuses harassing you all the time.
I found a Facebook page for a ladyboy bar called caddy shack in hua hin. Looks small but it does appear to have some LB's there. Recent photos posted too. One in particular looks very sexy
