Baht surged today.

My guess is that the FX traders liked the lack of civil unrest after the Thaksin verdict.

I don't monitor most currency pairs but am in the habit of checking the Baht/Dollar rate as I'm walking past the banks on the way to my Thai lesson. Today, I was taken aback thinking it might have been a mistake but a similar rate at the second bank.
