Actually yes it is possible to have ladyboy friends. I have a very good ladyboy friend who is a waitress at my favorite restaurant and she is absolutely hilarious!
What you have to do is treat them like you would any other person you might like as a friend, don't come on to them just enjoy their company.
Stay away from the bar ladyboys and meet the in a normal environment, there's lots out there trust me.
Just find one you honestly like and take it from there, they are sweet people.

Yes, the personal contact sites charge a lot of money, and unfortunately many of them are scam sites.

Your best solution to this is to move to a country where there are many lbs/shemales and look to make friends with one who is not in the p4p (pay for play) industry.

Another option may be for you to learn to read and speak Thai and check out some Thai contact sites - I think Mthai was a site mentioned that had a lot of lbs.

I think to some extent it depends where in the world you are.

I have an Asian TG girlfriend who lives in London, whom I met through a site called TS-Dating. It's free, but there are quite a few escorts on the site. Finally, and I am sorry if this sounds pompous, but if you genuinely want a TG girlfriend, it's also probably better not to talk about "shemales". It's a term which a lot of TG girls find offensive.
