When I was going with a female receptionist in the elevator to show me my room. She started talking about her tip (100 B), saying ' I take care of you'.
Once in the room she repeated what she said before.
I told her that I work in 4 star hotel and what she was doing in not done. I gave her no tip. In a few seconds she left the room.
During the rest of my stay in that hotel in PTY, she was friendly and helpful.
Returning from Walking Street with the bath bus, there was an old English guy saying to a Thai women(30's) that he would pay for her as he had only 20 B notes with him. She said to him give also your cell phone(not jokingly). We (all farangs) were looking at each other, thinking 'man, how dare she asking this'.
I go to PTY (Phuket likewise) for the high concentration of LB's otherwise I wouldn't. It's like the Spanish Costa Del Sol without hookers.
