    Hi All, Thought I would sign up, say hello and thank you for the terrific information on this board.

    How many times have you heard " I wish I had known this stuff before my first trip"? Well its true. Can't wait for my next visit.

      welcome Sam, indeed soak up all the knowledge you can and your next trip will be 100 times better

       just remember not to pre-plan too much!

      Vacations in Thailand just seem to fall into place better just by going with the flow

           when myself and certainly many more old-timers started going to Thailand in the 90's, there was only ONE forum even remotely like this one; and you had to pay to see it!  This one is free and super-helpful, agreed??

        Now that you have 'de-lurked' [nice one],  we look forward to hearing more in future!

                Jai Dee, I agree completely with everything you've said. Especially about making plans. My next trip, the last two weeks in October, I'm up to my ass in plans that I'm actively trying to weasel my way out of now. We shall see.

                SamplerDoc, I found this site in Jan 08 through a blog I read on another site. The blog was a humor piece about Thai Ladyboys using Guess Bar LB Paang as there prime example of Ladyboy Womanhood. I thought it was funny. Many here however, did not . As I recall lots of bombs were lobed back and forth between the two camps. Anyway I found this site because of it and I'm glade I did.

                    Strange....I have told at least 2 people I know who work as affiliates to make blogs because they attract people like you.

                    still no blogs from those guys, maybe they don't work after all
