Early morning arrival

I have a November trip planned and arriving from a long haul flight from Canada in BK around 12:30. I figure that by the time l clear and take the taxi down to Pattaya it will be around 2am or so. Add a bit for clean up and at 2:30 l should be anxious for some fun. I am staying at the PBR.

Any suggestions on where l should go or where my best choices will be around thge 2:30-3am time period? there's no way l am going to be as l will be way too fired up.

Soi 6 at 2.30/3.00 am is not for the faint hearted and certainly NOT for a newbie.

As Stogie says try Walking St as there is always something going on 24 hours a day.

If you are new to Pattaya try
Soi 6 daytime (well afternoon) - So What bar, Red Light bar and Pooks - the shift starts at 1.00/2.00pm
Soi 13/1 7.00pm to 12.00pm - La Bamba, Stringfellows
Walking St/Naklua - Midnight onwards - lots of choice

Jomtien for a diversion in the early evening - Sally's bar/Club 54

I most definately won't advise the shadows of Soi 6 & 6/1 early hours of the morning

You'll definately be safer in the Walking Street area even at 6am

Actually i have a midnight arrival also, is there any problems catching a taxi/car down to Pattaya at this time of night?

Ive done it before. However, I had pre-arranged a car with Mr Toom.

But I've often landed at midnight and gotten a taxi to lower SUk so I think you'll be fine. Midnight is not an unusual time to arrive in LOS by air

My buddy just emailed me as he just returned and suggested that if its late(early in the morning) to go to Club Insomnia. There will be lots of choices and it will fire me up. He also suggested taking a taxi back to the PBR..to save time and it will be very late.

Ask what your buddy means by a taxi, because there are extremely few metered taxis in Pattaya. If he means a Baht bus (song teaw) these usually take established routes. If you pay more they may take you to a specific location, but be sure you settle the rate first. An irate driver can be dangerous. Don't be surprised if they ask for 100 Baht or more, which can cost more than a metered Bangkok taxi for the same distance.

Its probably best to call on the palm sisters, get a good rest (you'll be knackered after such a long flight) and try to get a decent sleep. If you hit the ground running too hard I find its always more difficult for me to adjust the next few days. And trust me, if you're going to be in Pattaya, you're going to need all the energy you can get!

I just left EZY Bar at 7AM this morning so get your hotel, unpack, take a shower and head down to EZY Bar for hot ladyboy action!    

You can get laid 24/7 in Sodom By The Seashore. If I had to pick the toughest time, although there is no tough time it'd be 10:30 AM.
