I'm escaping Songkran as usual - can't stand the ridiculous free-for-all it has become!

Flying to Hat Yai, one night there, then a taxi to Satun and one night there, followed by the ferry to Langkawi. After three nights in Langkawi, two in KL and then back to BKK. Any up-to-date advice on the scene gratefully received
