The only way you can do it is to do a direct link to a picture on a website. There is no facility to attach an image like you can when you post on the forum.

I would suggest posting your picture on one of the picture hosting sites and the PM'ing the recipients with the link.
You could always delete the picture later

I can install that hack for this board and I may think about doing it in the future when I have time.
